I mean...it's better than getting killed and robbed. These fellas were nice enough.
Getting hit by a car and robbed while your life slips away from you. That’s what living in NYC is all about. This is what being an American is all about. The diversity, the vibrant city life, this is what it’s all about. I’m sure that it’s nice to have a few young African American gentlemen cause you some bodily harm and then strip you of your valuables. After all, it is very likely that they really need the money for bread and water. In fact, it is even more likely that they are Robin Hood-like figures who are only stealing, robbing, and killing for the good of their communities.
The injured man, who I guess is in critical condition right now, should be grateful that he didn’t get killed outright. The young, upstanding gentlemen who assaulted and robbed him this past Saturday showed massive restraint. They should be applauded for that. And by the end of the year, they should all receive a citizenship award.
Cultural enrichment by diverse communities is a cherished and time-tested American value. I don’t see why anyone would complain about that. New York City is a shining beacon, a city on a hill, so to speak. When the badly injured man hopefully recovers, I am sure that he will thank the young men for showing him some mercy and not outright murdering him in broad daylight. And hopefully, he will donate to BLM.
