Candace Owens just released a documentary “exposing” Black Lives Matter. I mean, good on her. I’m sure she’ll make some good money from the project. And I think she does very good work. But it’s not going to move the cultural needle. At all. Anyone who still supports Black Lives Matter in October 2022 isn’t going to watch “The Greatest Lie Ever Sold.” In fact, they’re not going to watch anything by Candace Owens. If Ye didn’t lend her some of his star power, nobody outside of right wing folks who follow The Daily Wire would have really cared. In fact, cultural discussion about Kanye West's recent statements has greatly overshadowed any analysis of “The Greatest Lie Ever Sold.”
Candace’s documentary elaborates on how the BLM organization basically embezzles money from donors and uses the funds for all sorts of selfish and nefarious endeavors. She explains that the money never actually reaches grassroots organizations and local groups. That's cool to talk about. But there's nothing new to learn here.
The fact is that the BLM organization has already been exposed. The organization was revealed to be nothing more than a swindle way back in 2020 when documents came out showing that BLM was a cash cow for the Democrat Party. The Democrats were profiting directly from all the BLM donations via the political action committee called Act Blue.
It’s been sort of obvious that the BLM movement is stupid, and that the BLM organization is even stupider. It’s even more obvious that BLM has had a net negative impact on American society. A sizeable amount of normies who don't follow politics can agree with that sentiment because it’s self-evident. The BLM movement is very bad. The only thing that BLM ever “accomplished” was providing enough political pressure to force Donald Trump out of office. And even so, many staunch BLM members are disappointed with Joe Biden. So in essence, they just look even more retarded now than they did when they were rioting on the street.
The people who already know that BLM is full of shit aren’t going to be stunned or impressed by the material in Candace Owens’ documentary. We already know that Patrice Cullors is living in a mansion with the funds she received. We already know that BLM supports the gay and trans agenda. We already know all of that. Candace could literally provide evidence that BLM leaders kill and eat children and BLM supporters still wouldn’t care. In fact, they will just launch attacks at her. In conclusion, Candace should focus her time on energy on other topics. There’s so much else to talk about besides BLM.
