SKI-MASKED GOON GETS KILLED BY COPS, FOLKS CRY FOR... “JUSTICE???” Uh, what?

They even canceled 4th of July celebrations in Akron over a guy who had been in 2 police chases in 2 days.

Since May 2020, it’s been a contest for who’s gonna be the next George Floyd. It’s sort of like when NBA fans were wondering who the next MJ would be. I know some of you may still have high hopes for Jayland Walker. But it's time to give up on those dreams. This guy has nowhere near the same talent level and mystique as the legendary George Floyd. Sorry to disappoint.

Jayland Walker got hit with a hailstorm of bullets on June 27th in Akron, Ohio after he was dumb enough to challenge a group of 8 police officers by himself. Mr. Walker had proven himself to be a deadly threat to the pursuing officers when he decided to shoot his gun at them from his vehicle during his attempt to evade arrest. By the time the ski-mask wearing suspect abandoned his vehicle, he had attracted a swarm of angry cops, all of whom had their guns pointed at him and were screaming at him to stop. At that point, the officers had run out of patience and their trigger fingers were itching (even though they did try to tase him first). Given this backstory, it would have been far more shocking if the officers had captured him alive.

People want accountability on the part of the police officers. But where are the demands for Jayland Walker's accountability? What was he possibly doing on the road at 12:30 AM with a loaded pistol and a ski-mask on? Was he making food deliveries? It’s annoying to me that people like this get so much attention after contributing nothing good to society. Great people die everyday and don’t get riots on their behalf. There were only 3 possible outcomes for a guy like him:

Death by a fellow black man

Death by cop

Prison

Jayland panicked and left his gun behind. Rookie mistake!

Shooting him 60 times (alleged at this time) appears excessive for sure, and I wouldn't be shocked or upset if the officers face some level of disciplinary action after a thorough investigation. But this fatal outcome wouldn’t have occurred if Jayland had just followed instructions when he was pulled over. Instead, he proved himself to be a brazen idiot who thought that he could get away with leading the police on a high speed chase, using deadly force against an entire law enforcement squad by himself, and running away like a coward once he realized that he was all out of options. What serious person would actually waste time defending a guy like this? Would there be any outrage or calls for accountability if he had killed one or more of the officers? As the saying goes, play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

Of course police brutality is a real phenomenon and a real problem. In fact, police use excessive force against everyone, not just blacks. The difference between the races when it comes to being on the receiving end of police violence is much smaller than the average Joe may think. The only reason why it appears that the police target blacks so much more often is because of the selective coverage by the news media.

Anyway, I don’t have much else to say on this, this guy seems like he was a reprobate on his way to nowhere. I really don't think he deserves the massive support that he is getting.
